Today is a pretty special day for the Canham family, as ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ ๐ฒ๐ฌ! ๐
Although as heโll probably be quick to point out, heโs still got a whole 30 years to go before catching up with his dad, ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป, who turns an incredible 90 this December! ๐
Two big birthdays in one year feels like a very good excuse to celebrate โ but it also got us thinking about just how much has happened along the way.
It all started back in 1974, when ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป set up the business with just ยฃ75 in his pocket and, we imagine, absolutely no idea where the journey would eventually take him!
๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น later joined his dad; ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ต๐ฎ๐บ & ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ป was born, and Sharon became an important part of the family business too.
There have been plenty of early mornings, late nights, muddy boots, building sites, cups of tea, successes, challenges and lots of stories and memories to tell! ๐
More than 50 years later, weโre incredibly proud that the ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ต๐ฎ๐บ name continues through ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ต๐ฎ๐บ & ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ต๐ฎ๐บ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐, with the same pride in what we do that started with ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป all those years ago.
But enough about workโฆ
Today is all about ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น!
Happy 60th Birthday, ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฒ๐น! ๐๐ฅ๐ฅณ
We hope you have a brilliant day โ and donโt worry, 90 is still a long way off!
Then in December, weโll do it all over again when Alan reaches that magnificent milestone.
60 & 90 in the same year. Not bad going, Canhams! ๐
Hereโs to family, memories, milestonesโฆ and plenty more stories still to come. ๐ฅ
