The Library is expanding to include retrofit tools and materials (think insulation, lime pointing, scaffold towers etc). The College has funding to employ a Tool Library Manager for a part time 2 year contract.
It could be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in retrofitting older properties and helping locals improve their heating bills.

A while ago our insurer told us we could not lend out chainsaws despite them being one of our most borrowed tools. Happily Ryobi have just brought out a ‘Pruner’ which will do a lot of the jobs our chainsaws used to do.
But if anyone asks it’s a Pruner not a chainsaw!

Some of our tools are missing, do you happen to have our impact driver or the black accessories bag for the Bissell Carpet Cleaner?

We don’t do late return fines, it would just be nice to have them back!

New battery operated sprayer has arrived just in time for the gardening season. Tested this week and far easier on the hands than pump or trigger bottles.
Tool Library open 10-12am, Saturdays, Wednesday 11-1pm.
If borrowed please rinse system through with clean water before returning!

Spring’s here so we are sharpening and sprucing up the gardening tools in preparation.
Our battery operated mower is very light and excellent for small gardens.
Open Easter Saturday 10-12am, Wednesday 11-1pm.
