We’ve been on site at Hemerdon Mine, supporting the delivery of the new tungsten processing plant.

Working alongside Duo Group and D Wall Construction Services, it’s great to see the early stages taking shape as the project progresses.

The teams on site have done a fantastic job getting things moving, despite the challenges that come with working in this environment — their effort and commitment really set the tone for what’s ahead.

🚧 Yard Person Vacancy – Join Our Team 🚧

Location: John Luffman Trading Ltd Depot (A38 between Wellington & Tiverton)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We’re looking for a reliable and self-motivated Yard Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who’s happy working both independently and alongside others to keep the yard running smoothly.
Previous experience is helpful, but just as important is a good work ethic and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe
Following all site Health & Safety procedures
General yard maintenance (hedging, strimming, weeding)
Manufacturing concrete lego blocks
Loading and bagging materials
Accepting and offloading deliveries
Assisting with stock control and stock takes
Operating forklift/telehandler (training can be provided)

What We’re Looking For
Reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous yard experience (preferred but not essential)
