Endurance Challenge for a Cause!

In less than two weeks, one of our team members Kevin Brown, will be taking on an incredible physical and personal challenge: running 174km (117 miles) coast-to-coast across Devon - the equivalent of nearly five marathons back-to-back - all to raise funds for Parkinson's UK.

This isn’t just an athletic test. It’s a mission with deep personal meaning for Kevin. Parkinson’s is on the rise, and there’s still no cure - but organisations like Parkinson’s UK are working tirelessly to change that. They fund vital research into treatments and offer much-needed support for people living with Parkinson’s and their families. With continued funding, they believe a cure is possible. Kevin’s goal is to help them get one step closer.

🏃‍♂️ The Challenge: The Devon Coast to Coast Ultra

Distance: 174km

Elevation: Across Dartmoor & Exmoor

Duration: Must be completed in under 36 hours

Route: Wembury → Ivybridge → Dartmoor → Exmoor → Finish in Lynmouth

Conditions: Mixed terrain, night running, minimal sleep (he’s allowed himself a 20-minute nap!)

Kevin’s route will even pass near our Fraser Anti-Static Techniques offices during the early morning hours.
