*NEW* Ultra-Miniature IEPE Triaxial, 50mV/g

When measuring vibration on lightweight structures such as PCB boards, mass loading can be an issue. So ultra miniature accelerometers are used, however small size and low mass usually means, low sensitivity, making the measurement low amplitude vibration a challenge. 📚 It's been a while since we brought some technical content to our followers and a recent discussion on the topic of Filter 'Poles' or 'Orders' with another of our customers prompted us to document this subject as it pops up all the time and it's an easy read.

💈 So 3 questions....

What is a filter ‘pole’?
Is a filter ‘order’ the same as ‘pole’?
Why is an 8 pole filter better than a 2 pole filter?
