Great to be back inspiring future engineers! ⚙️

On 22nd May, we visited St. Sebastian's School in Wokingham and delivered our popular Gears Workshop to 65+ students from Reception to Year 6. With hands-on activities and real-world examples, the sessions brought engineering concepts to life.

Delivered by two of our dedicated STEM Ambassadors, the workshop is part of our ongoing programme, running since September 2023, to spark curiosity and encourage the next generation into STEM careers 🚀

Xtrac was proud to support the UK Motorsport Industry Association's annual Trade Mission to the USA, bringing global industry leaders together during the Coca-Cola 600 week in Charlotte.

We hosted an evening reception for the MIA delegation and guests, including NASCAR representatives, offering tours of our North Carolina facility and showcasing the breadth of our work — from A1GP to NASCAR, GT3 and Super Trofeo.

A huge thank you to our customers for providing stunning cars, and to the NC team for their energy, preparation and hospitality in making the event such a success.

Yesterday, some of our team helped out at Good Hope Farm in Newbury.

The sun was shining and our volunteers got to work strimming, painting fences and benches, turning compost, weeding and planting tomatoes and sunflowers. We had a great day and will be back soon.

Did you know Xtrac has received three Princess Royal Training Awards?

This prestigious City & Guilds Foundation recognition celebrates our long‑standing commitment to developing skills, investing in apprenticeships, and building the next generation of engineering talent.

Xtrac was previously recognised in 2018 and 2021 for its apprenticeship programme and in 2022, we opened our own in-house training academy and enhanced our mentoring network, resulting in a fantastic visit by Her Royal Highness.

This week is about raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and reminding one another that mental health is just as important as physical health.
At Xtrac, we’re supported by a dedicated team of 12 trained Mental Health First Aiders across the business. They provide a confidential, non judgemental listening ear, help colleagues spot early signs of mental health concerns, and offer guidance on accessing further support when needed. You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out, support is there whenever it’s needed.
Creating a workplace where people feel supported and able to talk openly is something we continue to prioritise. Let’s keep looking out for one another 💬
