At Xtrac, we’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels able to speak openly and access the support they need.

Throughout this week, we have raised awareness by sharing resources, encouraging conversations, and reminding our teams that looking after your mental health is just as important as your physical wellbeing.

To help bring people together, our canteen was open to everyone, creating a relaxed space to encourage conversation, connection, and support across the business.

Whether it was taking a moment to check in with a colleague or simply starting a conversation, every small action makes a difference. Let’s continue to break down stigma and build a culture where it’s okay to ask for help.

We’re delighted to share Xtrac has joined the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) – the voice of the UK’s maritime engineering and marine science & technology sector.

This is a fantastic milestone as we continue to explore new opportunities to bring our high-performance engineering expertise into the maritime industry.

Our membership follows an inspiring first visit to Seawork 2026, where we received a warm welcome and made some brilliant new connections. It was a great chance to gain valuable insight into the sector and start exciting conversations about how Xtrac can support marine applications.

Last Tuesday, Warren Page and Faye Cooke visited The Hurst School to deliver an engaging STEM workshop, giving students an insight into the world of apprenticeships at Xtrac.
From understanding what apprenticeships involve, to exploring real career journeys and hands-on examples of engineering through gears and gearbox components, the session showcased the exciting opportunities available within our industry.
It was fantastic to support and inspire the next generation, sharing how an apprenticeship can be the start of a rewarding and dynamic career.

As the 24 Heures du Mans returns for its 94th running, Xtrac is proud to play a key role in one of the most demanding events in motorsport.

With cars spending up to 80% of each 13.6km lap at full throttle, reliability and performance are pushed to the limit.

This year, Xtrac is supporting the vast majority of the grid:
• 89% of Hypercar entries
• 100% of LMP2
• 80% of GT3

Across the full race, 55 of 62 cars are equipped with Xtrac technology, alongside further strong representation in the Road to Le Mans support series.

With our team on the ground all week providing commercial, engineering, and technical support, we’re proud to stand alongside our customers as they take on this iconic challenge.

Great to be back inspiring future engineers! ⚙️

On 22nd May, we visited St. Sebastian's School in Wokingham and delivered our popular Gears Workshop to 65+ students from Reception to Year 6. With hands-on activities and real-world examples, the sessions brought engineering concepts to life.

Delivered by two of our dedicated STEM Ambassadors, the workshop is part of our ongoing programme, running since September 2023, to spark curiosity and encourage the next generation into STEM careers 🚀
