We’re excited to welcome Harry into the team at Geometric Manufacturing soon 🙌🏻

Apprenticeships are a core part of our business. With improved facilities in-house & better training in their extended learning, we have been able to develop some amazing talent which we are proud to still have at Geometric ✅

Our Apprentices have every opportunity to become key stakeholders in Geometric Manufacturing, with apprenticeship qualified staff in all areas, including the Senior Leadership Team 📈

We’re also really pleased to continue to work with local schools & sixth forms to provide their students with the next step, moving from education to workplace 👨‍🎓

More apprenticeship success!

Congratulations to Y11 Harry who has been offered an apprenticeship at Tewkesbury-based engineering company, Geometric Manufacturing.

Harry was shortlisted to 5 applicants from 122 to attend a recruitment day, during which he participated in two team building exercises, took a maths exam and had 6 short interviews with various members of the Geometric team (one of which was the CEO of the company).

There was only one position as a CNC machinist for which Harry has been selected and has accepted. He will start his apprenticeship at Geometric, with training at Gloucestershire Engineering Training on September 15 2025.

Both Harry's family and Tewkesbury Academy are so proud of his determination throughout the whole process.

Careers Lead, Mrs Baird commented, "It's very rewarding for us to hear that our Careers events and visits have inspired students to learn more about our local companies and find their career paths. Tewkesbury Academy has worked closely with Geometric for several years; they are great supporters of our school and our careers events and we wish Harry every success."

🎉 ONE YEAR AGO 🎉

Exactly 1 year to the date we officially completed the acquisition of what was known as Precision Engineering Pieces, now Geometric's Fabrication division.
🤝 Securing and retaining 31 jobs in the local area which would've otherwise been lost
👋Hiring 4 new starters (with more to come)
🤩Beginning our journey with apprentices in this division with our Level 3 Metal Fabricator Brandon
⏫Increasing capabilities by adding a state-of-the-art Laser Cutting solution
👶 Welcoming 1 future recruit to the Geometric family & wishing Nick a happy retirement, who had been with the business for over 40 years

‼️DON'T FORGET WHAT WE DO‼️
Supplying machined enclosures and components as well as sheet metal fabrications, and with in-house processes including Iridite NCP, Surtec, phosphating, powder coating, wet painting to Def and MIL specifications, with screen printing and laser engraving, all produced and manufactured under our own control in our 3 sites totalling 56,000 sq ft in the Tewkesbury area.

We also have rubber and elastomer moulded parts, and Form-In-Place gasket laying capabilities.

Yesterday marked our first recruitment evening with Gloucestershire Engineering Training as we prepare for September 2025 starters. We're excited to focus on Level 3 Apprenticeships in CNC Machining and CNC Fabrication for younger entrants. Offered in addition to our successful Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship, we look forward to opening applications for both programs soon!
