Maintenance Engineer

£29,000 per annum

We are a long and established, independent plant and access hire business looking for a new candidate to work on our diverse and ever growing fleet of access platforms.

The job role is to maintain, service, fault find and repair our fleet of Niftylift, Snorkel, Haulotte and Hinowa access platforms. It is essential to have a good background and understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, diagnostics and engines. The individual must be self-motivated and work well as a team member. They should have good customer focus as the job will require attendance to customer breakdowns. They should be able to demonstrate the operation and handover of equipment ensuring its safe use before leaving the premises.

It is essential to have a full driving licence.
Experience of the plant hire industry desirable.
Other benefits - Van; annual bonus

We’ve always valued our green innovations: in 1977 we converted 4 Land Rovers to run on LPG propane producing 80% less carbon monoxide (CO) than petrol engines of that era (thanks for sharing the photo Kevin!).
