It’s encouraging to see the SP trauma kit being used following recent Stop the Bleed, CPR, and casualty stabilisation training in Lukla, Nepal, with Everest Fire & Rescue , delivered by the FIRE AID UK team alongside John Aitchison KFSM, a Fire Officer with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

The Lukla Helipad ground crew play a vital role in receiving and managing seriously ill patients in an extremely challenging environment, often with very limited equipment.

We’re proud that the SP trauma kit can support their ongoing work to strengthen emergency care on the ground.
