⚫️ Estate Fencing ⚫️

Here at our Somerset workshop we take great pride in fabricating all components for estate fencing from raw materials right the way through to a completed and installed product. It would be fair to say it has become a specialty of ours over the past few years, giving us the privilege of working alongside some great customers as well as working in some beautiful locations.

Installing estate fencing across different terrains, ground conditions and challenging locations has enabled us to hone in our skills, equipment and make bespoke tools to make a very efficient and cost effective result often much more so than even the diy kits than can be purchased.

Being metal fabricators first and foremost we also make and install: vehicular and pedestrian gates, electric/automated gates, stiles, cattle grids, bridges and much more.

We cover the whole of the southwest and often go much further afield.

Whether you are looking for just a short run of fencing in your garden or paddock or to compliment a driveway or just replace a wooden fence with something that is actually going to last within the agricultural/equestrian industry we would love to hear how we can help.

Here is a gate that we completed on the quantocks a couple of months ago.

Following a site meeting and several discussions with the customer on the look and style they wanted to achieve we put together a drawing for their approval before fabricating the gate from scratch.

Like all of our gates - it was shot blasted, primed and powder coated for a quality, durable and long lasting finish.

All designed, fabricated and installed by One Six Engineering.

Almost a year since our last update!

We have been busy behind the scenes with lots of repeat business within the production welding industry as well as various repairs across the agricultural, building and entertainment industries too as well as lots of bespoke projects which we are excited to share in future posts!

We managed to get this pergola dome wrapped up and installed late summer just before the weather took a bit of a change.

The customer had a beautiful cast iron base positioned within their garden area with a sun dial in the centre and suspected that it had a pergola dome mounted on top at one point in its life so we where fortunate enough to be tasked with recreating it.

This one was certainly a head scratcher with several compound curves to take into account, all of which needed to piece together seamlessly upon instillation as well as house all the equally sized scrolls.

We may have almost bit of more than we could chew with instillation being how heavy and dependent they all are on supporting one another but got there in the end just as the sun was setting.

It was a pleasure fabricating these railings for the newly renovated community centre in Honiton.

Despite their simplicity we made the most of all the tools at our disposal aiding us in creating a fantastic and robust product.

Inputting precise measurements of the new brick work into cad and designing the railings off of that gave us the peace of mind that everything would piece together perfectly upon installation.

Coupled with fabricating all the railings on our fixture tables ensured everything remained straight and square while welding.

Once all the welding was complete they were shot blasted, etch primed and powder coated in satin black. Delivered and installed by us and a very happy customer, all in all a very good result.
