service work from his home with
only a van and limited equipment.

full engineering company offering
service, manufacturing and
specialised installations throughout

Dean said: “In 2004 we
moved into an industrial estate
with one unit and this has now
expanded into five units, all on the
site. In 2010 a large investment was
made into machinery to improve the
manufacturing side of the business
and we now have full machining
capability using cnc lathes, milling,
sheet metal work with guillotine and
press brake folding equipment.” Two years ago DC Engineering
acquired Paul Young Engineering’s
premises and equipment and have
a turnover of around £800,000. So what’s next? “We have plans to
expand the business again this year
with another acquisition which will
widen the capability of the company
further.
