What happens if a hydraulic pump or motor fails at the wrong moment?

It could be a slow build-up of contamination nobody spotted. A bearing that's been running hot for months. A seal that was quietly leaking. The kind of thing that looks fine, until it isn't.

The photos in this post are real. These are the insides of hydraulic pumps that came through our workshop recently. Heavy contamination. Catastrophic bearing failure. Degraded fluid turning to sludge inside components that were expected to just keep going.

Yesterday at HOS, we took some time out to do exactly what Mental Health Awareness Week is all about actually showing up for each other.

We're talking great food, great laughs, and yes… go-kart racing. Because nothing brings a team together quite like a bit of wheel-to-wheel competition! 🏎️

We were proud to join R&G Group in raising funds for Andy's Man Club, a cause that means a lot to us and a reminder that checking in on the people around you matters more than we sometimes realise.
