☕💚 Coffee, cake and a little time for a very important cause.

Yesterday, our Social Committee brought everyone together for a Macmillan Coffee Morning — and judging by the amount of cake on display, our office teams were very happy to get involved!

A special shout-out to the team behind the scenes. Organising something like this takes time, energy and plenty of effort on top of the day job, and we really appreciate them making the time to bring everyone together and recognise such an important cause. (Rowel Ramos, Scarlett Langfrey, Emily Thomas, Phoenix Mitchell). Rowel - don't think we didn't notice your matching shirt as well as all your decorating efforts! 😉

It was lovely to see colleagues taking a moment out of a busy working day to catch up, have a cuppa and support Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

At FAAC we believe that sharing expertise is the key to progressing our teams.

For example... Phoenix Mitchell (Marketing Apprentice) recently accompanied one of our Business Development Managers on a site survey.

Why?
It's one thing to explain what your job entails... but it's nothing compared to first-hand on-the-job experience.

For Phoenix, it's imperative that he understands everything our Sales Team have to offer when it comes to our Customer Service and experience.

“Part of my role is creating the ‘shop window’ for FAAC Entrance Solutions, so joining Colin on site gave me a great insight into what happens behind the scenes. Seeing the challenges he tackles and the technical knowledge he brings to every job was a real eye-opener. I’m proud to have gained even a small insight into his expertise, and it’s given me a greater appreciation of the service we deliver to our customers." - Phoenix

Getting out of the office, and joining our teams on site is a great way to see the industry in action and understand how the work we do comes together in real-world environments.

⛳ A day on the course with ADSA… and a little bit of FAAC flair.

Last week, our team headed out for the ADSA Golf Tournament, supporting a great industry initiative while helping raise money for some brilliant charities: Band of Builders, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and Shine Bright Foundation.

Now, we're not going to pretend we came away with the trophy… 🏆😂 But that wasn’t really the point.

What did matter was getting together with colleagues and others from across the Automatic Door Industry, enjoying some healthy competition, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, supporting causes that make a difference. The Marketing Team are particularly impressed to see the whole FAAC team turn up in matching kit — including the famous FAAC socks that seem to have developed something of a cult following!

Being part of ADSA is about more than just automatic doors. It’s about safety, professionalism, collaboration and driving positive change across our industry — and it’s great to see that spirit extending beyond the workplace.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to ADSA for bringing the industry together for a brilliant cause.

Same time next year? We might need to work on the golf… 😉

We recently welcomed our Sales Team into our newly refurbished Training department for refresher training!

David Rhodes, Technical Manager, delivered an upskilling session to our Business Development & Specification teams last week in order to deepen their understanding of our new AS3000 Sliding Door system and accessories.
