Spotted on the BBC 👀

It’s great to see British wool back in the spotlight, with the BBC exploring the growing demand for wool and the increasingly innovative ways it’s being used – from clothing to insulation and even slug pellets.

And we couldn’t help but spot a familiar name in the shearing shed too…

For us at Lister, it’s always good to see the wider wool industry getting the recognition it deserves, and the people at the very start of that journey doing what they do best.

As some shearing seasons begin and others come to an end, for some, this will be their very first 🐑

There’s a lot to learn in that first season – finding your rhythm, building confidence and picking up the little things that only come with experience.

So, we’re handing this one over to the shearers who’ve been there before…

You might see the machines out on the stand, but there’s plenty going on behind the scenes throughout a competition too.

In between runs, our team are on stage checking, adjusting and making sure everything is running exactly as it should, ready for the next shearer to step up.
