A few bits going on in the workshop today 🔧⚙️
Cutting up a few lengths of box section for a sub-base on a project I’m currently working on, along with drilling out some templated holes with the rotabroach.
Plenty of fabrication work underway and it’s all starting to come together 👌🏗️

A few of Marie Shepard’s incredible animal sculptures 🐇✨
It was an absolute pleasure to create a bespoke set of plinths for these stunning works of art.

The project included two tall plinths to elevate the beautiful hare sculptures, complete with ground fixture plates and captive sculpture fixings beneath the top plates ⚙️🐾

We also made two custom U-shaped plinths to support Marie’s dynamic chasing hare sculptures — perfectly capturing their movement and energy 💨🐇

And finally, a box plinth for the wonderfully characterful sleeping Dachshund 🐕💤

Every plinth was designed with sculpture-specific fixtures and ground fixings to complement and securely display each piece.

Such a pleasure to work alongside such amazing artwork — the movement, personality, and humour in these sculptures are truly something special👏🎨

A few shots of this set of custom sculpture display stands amongst other ongoing projects… ⚒️
Back in the workshop now after a very tough few weeks — still recovering, but getting there steadily. Appreciate everyone’s patience and support.

Some welding going into this larger display plinth 🔧
This one’s got a bit more going on — complete with an access hatch for easy sculpture installation and inner framework.
Now taking shape nicely… next for some sanding and prep work, prior to applying its rusted patina.
All starting to come together 🎇💆

A busy first week after coming off critical care — slowly stepping back into things and rebuilding strength day by day 💪🛠️
On the work side, things are moving forward too!
We’ve now got support on the admin department📋

Also… in the workshop, I’ve got a good friend on board — a highly experienced industrial metal fabricator — helping out with fabrication 🔧🔥, which means turnaround times are getting quicker ⏱️🚀
