On Thursday, we were invited to the Stone Alzheimer’s Club alongside Stone scooter club to present the money raised at our Fuel & Flavour Day 💛
This amazing club has been running for 19 years, offering a warm and welcoming space for people living with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and their carers. From tea, coffee and biscuits to chat, games, bingo, singing and entertainers – it’s a place full of smiles and support. We had the chance to sit in on a session, and it truly is something special. The volunteers are incredible, and you can see just how much it means to everyone who attends.
In the UK, around 900,000+ people are living with dementia, with numbers expected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. Around 1 in 11 people over 65 are affected, making it a cause that touches so many families.
We’re so proud to say we raised an amazing £867.69!!!!🎉
This will help keep the club running for around 2 months.
