Wycombe Radio Car Club

Wycombe Radio Car Club We race electric radio-controlled cars, all year round, on our indoor carpet track. Anyone thinking of taking up the hobby can visit for free.

Originally based in High Wycombe but now in Stokenchurch, we are a not-for-profit organisation that is run by volunteers. Our once permanent venue in High Wycombe has now been redeveloped and the club ceased operations for several years. However, a group of former members and committee members have worked to revive the club and begin a new chapter for this once thriving club. We race various class

es of radio-controlled car indoors on a specialist needle carpet surface - check out the ‘Classes’ section of our website for more info. WRCC is a member’s club, but anyone can visit, spectate, or take part as a non-member. RC model motorsport caters for people from all backgrounds, and we do not discriminate on age, sex or disability. We are a BRCA (British Radio Car Association) affiliated club, and we request that anyone who races with us is a BRCA member as well (adult membership costs £25/year). Visit the BRCA Website for further information. The club boasts a variety of skill levels from beginner to advanced so everyone is welcome and there is always plenty of help on offer from our regulars. We recommend paying us a visit and talking to us before jumping in and investing in any equipment so we can help make sure you get suitable gear for your money. Events are run throughout the year by the club on weekday evenings and occasional weekends and we have several National Championship winning drivers to our credit. Most of our action is fed through Facebook – please visit and ‘Like’ our page to be kept updates about news and events! Check out www.wycomberacing.co.uk for more information. Some hopefully good news to share!

We have managed to arrange a return to our old hall booking on Tuesday evenings starting on Tuesday 16th June. We will schedule WRCC club meetings on fortnightly Tuesdays thereafter.

This means a return to the smaller hall, so the track area will be 2m (1 carpet roll) narrower and a touch shorter. We are hopeful though that Tuesdays will be a more convenient day for people to attend regularly. Doors will open at 6pm too so hopefully we can finish a touch earlier and enable more of our junior racers to attend regularly.

We would really appreciate it if you could show your support for this change by booking in and racing with us.

Hi all, unsurprisingly with great weather and half term we have not received enough entries to run our club meeting this Thursday (28th).

Apologies, I’ll discuss with Mark Stiles the options moving forwards for subsequent meetings.

Until next time!

We are still hoping to run this Thursday. So do not forget to book in! Follow this link to do so:
