Meet Sonny O’Reilly — a super dedicated member of the team , and someone we’re genuinely proud to have in the Meiji family.
Sonny is registered severely sight impaired. He has nystagmus and macular scarring that can never be corrected. He can’t drive, and he can’t read a screen without holding it right up to his face. And yet over the past year he’s taught himself to spray-paint from scratch, holds down a full-time job in the trade, and has become one of the most genuine, passionate voices for our brand in the UK.
He’s been involved with the UK's brand development for 12 months straight, and when he got to meet the people behind the design, he told us it felt like meeting his hero. Honestly, that means as much to us as it does to him.
Sonny — thank you for reminding all of us that a limit is usually just someone else’s assumption. We can’t wait to keep building with you.
