A bit of a change today. I dropped of a wheel stand I rebuilt for Stuart Wiltshire Glass.

So! Our beautiful daughter set me a challenge yesterday by yet again breaking her wheelchair. The part is available but!! The only ones are in the USA.
Off we go into the workshop and see how close we can get with a piece of what Cymone calls "aloonimum"
Now fitted to the chair and works exactly as intended.

It has been far too long since this old lady has stood on her own two wheels.
Even though they are newer versions with new forks, yokes etc. It has been fun making these in the style of the ELR 1000S1, not replica as such as the forks are from a ZX9R with Maxton internals.
The wheels are ER650 which on current setup needs the back end picking up a touch, that! is a job for the new year along with all the other stuff. That said progress has been made and I am chuffed she is on her wheels again 😎

New top yoke for my Big Z. They are Kawasaki S1 inspired but not replica as such. I'll leave that to Dane Bolleurs . The bottom yoke is on the CNC now so with a bit of luck the old girl will be back on her wheels soon, at last 😉 😎
