Barcelona Day 4

Gentlemen Challenge. The SLR had another race long battle with the Healey. Strong result for the team.

CER 2. The B26 made a strong start. A safety car closed the field and brought us back to the Porsches. We served a pit stop penalty but recovered well to finish P3 in class.

ERL2. We made setup changes that showed promise on the opening lap. A short trip into the gravel cost us laps. We rejoined and finished P7 in class, valuable points and collected useful tyre data.

Round 1 Barcelona Day 3

CER 2 qualifying. Strong session. P3 on the road and P6 on combined driver time.

Gentlemen Challenge Race 1. First race of the weekend. The abrasive circuit caused high wear on the left rear tyre so we changed tyres in the pit stop. Close race long battle with a Healey kept the pressure on. Finished P11 overall.

ERL2 Race 1. Good start and hard racing throughout. A spin in the first stint set us back but the recovery drive brought us back into contention for the pit stop. After the driver change we pushed through the field. A late safety car set up a two lap sprint to the finish. Took P3 in class and P6 overall.

Day 2

Busy day for the team.

Gentlemen Challenge free practice with the SLR. The car showed strong pace but we hit a clutch issue. The team removed the engine and gearbox and replaced the clutch before lunch.

ERL2 Q1 with the Corvette. Strong run to P3 overall.

Gentlemen Challenge qualifying. SLR finished P13.

CER2 free practice with Chocolate Drop. The session was disrupted with oil on track. The B26 ran well.

ERL2 Q2. Tight fight for P1. Finished P4 and saved tyres for the race. Combined driver times put us P5 on the grid.

Sunday Dix Mille Tours 🏁

🔹 CER2 – B26
Started strong, setup tweaks gave us back the pace we’d shown in practice. When oil went down late in the race, we hoped to chase P1, but the red flag came instead.
➡️ P2 in -2L class | P6 overall

🔹 CER1 – B19
Safety car chaos right at the pit window. Fought through and took P1 in -2L on track before post-race penalties shuffled the field.
➡️ P1 in -2L class & fastest lap | P6 overall

🔹 ERL2 Race 2 – C6R
Recovered from contact to finish P4 in class with fastest lap of the race.
➡️ P4 in class | P6 overall | 🏎️ Fastest lap

🔹 SLR – Gentlemen’s Challenge
Brought it home in P6 after a solid run.

A successful weekend across the board, best team, strong pace, hard fights, and silverware to show for it!

Saturday at Dix Mille Tours
• B26 (CER2) Tough going with conditions + traffic → P16 overall, P6 in class.
• B19 (CER1) Red flags cut quali short, just 15 mins for both drivers → P12 overall, P3 in class.
• C6R – Race 1 Early spin + pit stop dropped us to the back, but stormed through the pack → P18 overall, P12 in class. Missed fastest lap by just 0.043s!
• Morgan SLR (Gent Challenge) 🏁 Big fight against larger engined cars, brought it home P5 overall.
