MOT Tester & Mechanic/Vehicle Technician
J.A.G. Auto Engineers Ltd, Stirling

We are looking for an active MOT tester & fully qualified, time served mechanic, ideally with 5 years + experience. You will need be reliable, have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and the ability to work on your own initiative, making effective use of time & resources. Good time keeping is essential as is a friendly, professional & respectful manner in dealing with both customers & colleagues.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm & every other Saturday 8am – 12 noon.

In return we offer a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance & a friendly, easy going environment.

We are open, although running at reduced capacity and on a non-contact basis.

Priority will be given to existing customers and any key workers. Please remember that whilst your MOT expiry date may have been extended, you must still keep your vehicle in roadworthy condition.

If you wish to make a booking, please call our temporary booking number 07734955685 (for bookings ONLY) or (01786) 430008. If we are unable to answer we will call you back if you leave a message.

PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT CALL INTO THE GARAGE. We are operating a very strict non-contact procedure and you will find our door locked. At present, we are unable to offer courtesy cars, or pick up and drop off for customers. We must look after the safety of our staff and customers. Thank you for your understanding.

Coronavirus Update

UPDATE - We will close later today, Monday 23rd March for at least two weeks, which we will keep under constant review. We will work through our diary and speak to as many of our customers with upcoming bookings as possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

As this situation continues to evolve and change, we are implementing some extra measures to protect our customers and staff.

From Monday 23rd March, we ask that only one person is in our reception area at any one time. When you arrive to drop off or collect your vehicle, please wait until the reception area is clear before coming in.

Unfortunately, we will not currently be offering our usual service of dropping you off at home or work or collecting you when your vehicle is ready.

We very much appreciate your understanding and patience at this difficult time.
