We are proud to announce the arrival of our latest fleet additions from McHale Komatsu – the new Komatsu PC130-11 14 Tonne excavators, making Blackwood Plant the first in the UK to take delivery of these cutting-edge machines and this first one is equipped with Komatsu Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance (3DMG) technology.

This isn’t a standard 14 Tonne excavators. It has been specified to deliver the highest levels of accuracy, productivity, safety and efficiency on modern construction projects.

We’re pleased to welcome our new Manitou in the UK MRT3060 30m / 6 Tonne Lift Roto Telehandler to the fleet, supplied by A.T. BEST handlers ltd.

Joining our existing MRT2660, this latest addition further strengthens our specialist lifting division, with more Roto machines already planned to arrive this year.

With our Dual View dumper range now available from 6 to 12.5 tonnes, we can provide the right solution for projects of all sizes.

🇿🇦🚛 Another Bell joins the fleet! 🚛 🇿🇦

Our latest Bell B30E 30 Tonne Articulated Dump Truck has arrived from Bell Equipment UK and is ready to go to work.

Spec’d with:

✔️ Floatation tyres – reduced ground pressure and improved traction in soft underfoot conditions.

✔️ Tailgate – increased load retention and reduced material loss when travelling around site.

✔️ Inclinometer – helps operators work safely by monitoring machine angles on challenging terrain avoiding rollovers

✔️ Safety Shield – added protection for both operators and those working around the machine.

This latest addition takes our fleet to over 30 Bell dump trucks, ranging from the B20 right through to the B30E, meaning our ADT fleet is now exclusively Bell.

We’ve invested heavily in Bell machines over the years because they continue to deliver the reliability, performance and productivity our customers expect day in, day out.

Already proven manufacturer in our fleet we have added more from Kobelco supplied by Molson Equipment to our fleet courtesy of Alistair Murdoch

These machines need no introduction as they have been in our fleet since 2020 as our first 15 Tonne LGP Machines to now l we have a range of machines from 14t to 30 Tonnes

Due to continued expansion of the fleet, Blackwood Plant Hire has added a brand new Scania Wagon & Drag with 62 tonne metre crane to the fleet

✅ Volvo FH460 with Palfinger 48 tonne metre crane

We are looking for an experienced Crane Lorry Driver to join the team based from our Stewarton depot.

Requirements:

✔ CPCS preferred or NPORS Lorry Loader
✔ Loader Secure qualification
✔ Up-to-date CPC
✔ Experience loading plant & crane operations

The Role:

* Loading and transporting plant equipment
* Crane work across various sites
* Nights out may be required throughout the UK
* 5-day working week
* Every second Saturday as required
