When you’re choosing a rivet nut, here’s the quick checklist we guide customers through:

• Start with the thread size – match it to your design, not “whatever’s on the shelf”.
• Check the hole size against the data sheet. Too tight and installation’s a fight, too loose and the joint won’t hold.
• Confirm the grip range. If your material is thicker than the range, the rivet nut will be too short and can spin or pull out.
• Then dial in the details: material, head style, and the joint strength you actually need – not just what “looks right”.
