Lingarden Bulbs Ltd.

Lingarden Bulbs Ltd. Daffodil flower and Daffodil bulb agent for the wholesale industry (UK and Export)

Lingarden Bulbs Ltd began trading in early 2007, following a management buyout of the assets of the Bulbs Division of Lingarden Ltd, part of Flamingo Holdings. The original company, Selected Growers Ltd, (later to become Lingarden Ltd) was formed in 1964 as a growers cooperative, for the purpose of marketing daffodil and tulip flowers and bulbs from member's farms. Around 500 tonnes of daffodils b

ulbs and 30 million tulips bulbs were marketed annually in the 1960's, and the company diversified into onions, bulb handling machinery, and latterly, floral bouquest for UK supermarkets. In 2005, Lingarden Ltd was acquired by Flamingo Holdings, and the Bulb Division continued to trade as a seperate cost centre. Exports are key to the success of the business, and over 70% of the bulbs and more thank 90% of the daffodil flowers are exported to countries such as Holland, USA, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Canada & Spain. As tulip production in the UK declined, daffodils increased and now Lingarden Bulbs Ltd expects to market 6,000 tonnes of daffodil bulbs, and over 10 million bunches of daffodils each year. We are a small team, dedicated to serve the customer with high quality daffodil flowers and bulbs.
