Summer 26 - you have been a scorcher ☀️ which is fine unless you’re a skilled welder/fabricator working through it!!

We have missed birthdays, engagements and special occasions!!

However, we have been a little quiet on our social media just lately and for that we apologise - we have certainly not been quiet on the design, manufacturing and production side of JWE.

We have turned out some amazing work over the last few weeks and want to thank all of our loyal and dedicated team who have worked so hard to meet deadlines and kept projects on timelines for our customers.

We hope to share some of this work with you all very soon too as we are and continue to strive to meet our customers needs at all times

✔ MIG & TIG welding and fabrication
✔ Fabricating and assembling components from technical drawings

✔ Sheet metal fabrication and general engineering duties

* Proven experience in MIG/TIG welding and fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Minimum 3 years’ MIG welding and 3 years’ fabrication experience preferred

🔧 The Role
We’re looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator & Pipe Fitter to join our growing team in Gedney, Lincolnshire (PE12).

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ TIG welding and fabrication
✔️ Pipe fitting and sheet metal work
✔️ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
✔️ Fabricating and assembling components to specification
✔️ Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
✔️ Measuring, cutting, grinding and shaping metal

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Proven welding and fabrication experience
✅ Strong mechanical knowledge
✅ Ability to read technical drawings
✅ Experience with hand and power tools
✅ Pipework fabrication and fitting skills
✅ Good attention to detail and a positive work ethic

We work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, manufacturing conveyors, platforms, gantries, elevators, vibratory feeders and more.

If you take pride in producing high-quality work and enjoy a varied role in both the workshop and on-site, we’d love to hear from you.

What we’re looking for:

✔ Minimum 5 years’ experience (essential)
✔ Experienced in MIG/TIG welding and pipe welding
✔ Fabrication experience
✔ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Willing to work on-site and occasionally work away when required

Jim Wright Engineering, based in the uk. we recently faced a big decision on a project in Dillon, South Carolina, where we needed to add braces to a robot frame. After weighing the pros and cons of working remotely, we decided to partner with Creekside Welding and Fabrication, a local company near Dillon.
We couldn't be more pleased—they've just completed the work, and the results are absolutely outstanding. Trusting a new company is never easy, but Creekside has shown 100% commitment and loyalty, and we can't thank them enough. Highly recommend!
