Sails of Merit Sails of Merit provides a personal service in making and repairing sails and covers. We also have a mobile service and so, can come to you to sew!

Sarah has worked in the sail and cover business since 1985 - beginning at north sails then on to Lucas sails, Relling sails, b and h sails and covers and Jasper covers. She has produced many designs for commercial ventures alongside bespoke, individual applications large and small. She is a keen sailor and, a 17th c /civil war reenactor and historical sail maker.

Aparently i have breached meta’s standards by posting my own photos of my own work someone else has said they have the right and artistic licence to my work and that i am being held to ransom.
If this is deleted i will be back with sails of merit ltd

Sails of merit is now making authentic tents for reenactors.
We use a medium cotton duck canvas thats w/proof/fire resistant and rot proof or a flax canvas that is very authentic but is not waterproof or fire resistant so the authentic ways to make it so are required!
However you display or reenact, give us a call and we can discuss prices/availability etc. regards sarah
