Built with durability in mind, the exposed components are crafted steel then galvanised for maximum corrosion resistance, while the internal mechanism is made from brass to ensure smooth, dependable operation in harsh marine environments.

Our CNC waterjet is currenlly cutting 35mm Hardox plate with a compound angle

Using a jig that we have manufactured we're able to produce bevelled edges and complex geometries in a single operation.

Because it’s a cold cutting process, the integrity of the Hardox is fully preserved there’s no heat affected zone, no hardening, and no distortion, which is especially important with wear-resistant materials.

Exciting news from Haig Engineering.

We’re pleased to share an important update.

Haig Engineering has officially acquired the intellectual property (IP) of Deltax Limited.
We will be operating under the name Deltax UK Ltd
Deltax has long been recognised for its specialist machinery, engineering expertise, and trusted relationships across the scrap, recycling, demolition, and industrial sectors. By bringing the Deltax IP into Haig Engineering, we are committed to preserving its legacy while ensuring continued support for customers and suppliers.
What this means going forward:

✔️ Ongoing support for existing Deltax equipment where possible
✔️ A strong foundation for future development and innovation
