Our Benchmark Oak, Colour #3506 has now been installed throughout the property, with plank flooring upstairs and herringbone in the hallway and lounge, creating a beautiful flow throughout the home.

From the flooring upstairs, through to the stairs and the herringbone downstairs, it’s been amazing to see this project come together from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Nedas for bringing the installation to life. We’re so pleased with the finished result! 🤎

Newmarket Project | Part 2 🏡

The Newmarket project is coming together beautifully!

The upstairs is now complete, with our Benchmark Oak, Colour #3506 laid in plank. Nedas is now working on the stairs, while downstairs in the lounge, they’ve started laying the same Benchmark Oak, Colour #3506 in a classic herringbone pattern.

It’s great to see how the same timber and colour can create a completely different look depending on the laying style.

We can’t wait to see the whole house come together for the final reveal in Part 3! 👀

A traditional technique with a distinctive finish.

Cross sawing is an old-fashioned technique once used in historic sawmills, where the timber is cut across the grain to create a unique, textured surface.

Today, we use this traditional method to bring character and depth to our timber flooring. The subtle saw marks catch the light beautifully, adding natural texture and a time-worn feel to the finished floor.

A process rooted in tradition, creating flooring designed to bring warmth, character and individuality to contemporary interiors.

We visited a local client who is having our Benchmark Oak, Colour #3506, laid in plank upstairs in their property installed by Nedas.

We can’t wait to go back and see the herringbone flooring being installed downstairs. It’s already looking amazing, and we can’t wait to see the finished result! 👀
