🎣 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱!

Some of the Longwater team and our customers took to the lake at Catch 22 for a few days of fishing, good company and a bit of friendly competition.

Days like these are a great chance to spend time with our customers away from the trade counter and get to know the people behind the orders and phone calls. For us, that’s a big part of what being a local independent merchant is all about.

Neil Carter, Managing Director had this to say about the weekend…

“I’m not sure if someone asked me to sleep 3 nights in a tent on a tiny camp bed, I’d be all that keen. However, when you have the opportunity to catch a carp of a lifetime, it doesn’t seem so bad. Whilst we weren’t blessed with bumper catches, the atmosphere over the weekend was amazing. Guys who’d possibly never met building friendships sitting around John’s BBQ and Cafe is what makes times like this even more special. There’s nothing like a Longwater social.”

We’d love to do more events like this too - so if you’re a Longwater customer, what would you like to see us organise next? Let us know in the comments 👇

Thanks to everyone who joined us - even if the fish weren’t quite as keen!
