A pleasure to be back at JETLINE CUTTING LIMITED last week, servicing the two KMT intensifiers that have been in continuous operation for more than 20 years. Their condition is a great example of what disciplined maintenance, and the right service strategy can achieve over decades of high‑pressure cutting.
These units continue to run with impressive reliability thanks to a consistent annual servicing schedule and the use of Hypertherm HP seals, which reliably deliver a full 12 months of service life between visits. That level of performance doesn’t happen by chance — it’s the result of quality components installed correctly and a customer who genuinely looks after their equipment.
Even after thousands of hours and countless cycles, these intensifiers still operate with the smoothness you’d expect from far newer systems. Opening up machines of this age and seeing how well they’ve held up internally is always rewarding and speaks volumes about the standards maintained on site.
