With this foundation in operational aviation, in early 2009 we began to develop our specialist knowledge and experience in the commercial use of unmanned aircraft and their systems to satisfy equipment capability requirements. In 2010 we were one of the first UK operators in UK to obtain the UK CAA permission to operate commercially, now referred to as an Operational Authorisation (OA). We held a UK CAA Restricted National Qualified Entity (R-NQE) for a number of years and our Chief Pilot has over 400 hours experience of piloting fixed wing, single and multi rotor aircraft system upto 25 kgs AUM.
