We know that coolant spreads across windows like a layer of double cream, which can be frustrating,but do you know why? 🤔

It IS intentional and deliberate, not to annoy you, but because that is how the coolant is designed to work. Formulations contain additives who's purpose is to "wet out" meaning they spread across surfaces, in particular tooling and material to provide a consistent layer of protection, helping to keep things cool and lubricated. 💡

Unfortunately, this also means visibility is restricted on CNC windows but luckily the clever guys at came up with a cool solution to help, so now your coolant can carry on doing its thing, and you can keep an eye on things too! ☺️

At our Sheffield site, we blend everything from highly complex lubricant formulations with 25+ additives to streamlined base-oil combinations, all created for consistency and reliability. 💧

Every vessel is fully jacketed, allowing us to apply controlled heat for enhanced additive solubility and long-term stability. Mechanical agitation ensures a perfectly homogeneous mix, while specialist formulations with suspended solids benefit from advanced high-shear and low-shear blending techniques, delivering batch-after-batch performance you can depend on.

In 2024, we expanded with a second blend plant, bringing our total to 12 blending vessels. The result?

✅Greater capacity, shorter lead times, and scalable supply.
