Instead, it creates tiny pits on the surface, which act as stress concentration points, triggering premature fatigue. 💥

The process of identifying corrosion begins with visual inspection, followed by low and high magnification microscopy, SEM imaging and EDX analysis to detect microscopic damage and chemical contamination.
