It was great to attend the Port of Dover Partner Day recently, where we had the chance to make new connections and catch up with long-standing industry partners we've worked with for many years.

As Europe's busiest ferry port, the Port of Dover plays a vital role connecting the UK with Europe, moving millions of passengers, vehicles, and freight each year while supporting a significant share of UK-EU trade.

Eadon Consulting is thrilled to be included in the framework and we look forward to supporting future projects as opportunities arise. It’s exciting to be part of a team delivering improvements across such a strategically important piece of UK infrastructure.

Eadon is pleased to have successfully completed a demonstration of its brush testing rig.

The rig was developed to explore and refine a brush-based system for remotely removing challenging waste byproducts originating from a reprocessing facility. The primary objective of the demonstration was to evaluate how effectively the brush system and overall design would perform under realistic conditions.

The system met expectations and performed as intended during the demonstration, giving us confidence in our current design and confirming that the concept offers a strong foundation for further development.

The rig represents a simplified version of a larger solution currently in development, which will eventually incorporate a rotary brushing system mounted on a mobile platform for operation in constrained environments.

We look forward to building on this success as we move into the next phase of development.

Eadon is supporting Sellafield through the Game Changers programme with a feasibility study to improve corrosion monitoring and inspection in the SPRS - one of the most challenging nuclear environments.

Our feasibility study explores how REACH could support inspection and monitoring in SPRS cells. In collaboration with Ice Nine Robotics, we are exploring ways to ensure the system operates safely, reliably and consistently in this challenging environment.

The replacement of Bermuda’s Swing Bridge has reached a key milestone, moving into the tender phase.

Set to become a vital link between St David’s Island and St George’s Island, the new bascule bridge will be both a critical piece of infrastructure and a striking gateway for visitors arriving on the island.

The project has been delivered through a close collaboration between Ramboll, Knight Architects and Eadon Consulting Ltd. We're proud to be playing a key role - designing the bridge’s mechanical systems to ensure long-term performance.
