Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for Genius® as we hosted our first dedicated Genius training event.

Our sales team were the first to experience our brand-new Genius® training and event boards – designed to bring the complete Genius range to life and tell the story behind each of our eight ranges.

The session gave the team an in-depth look at the products, the thinking behind each range and how, together, they create a complete cleaning solution under one brand.

And this is just the beginning.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing much more from Genius®, introducing each of the ranges and taking our new boards out on the road – including their appearance at our Open Day this October.

We’re hiring: General Manager – Amtech UK 📢

We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven General Manager to lead the next stage of growth at Amtech UK, Burgess Hill, part of the Killis Group of Companies.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the professional cleaning industry, loves winning new business and has the drive to help us achieve a big ambition: establishing Amtech UK as the UK’s number-one supplier of specialist carpet care and hard floor care solutions.

You’ll lead a small team while remaining firmly involved in sales – developing new business, growing key accounts, opening new markets and driving our in-house manufactured product range across the UK.

We’re looking for:

A proven track record in sales and business development
Strong professional cleaning industry experience
Commercial drive and a passion for growth
Experience leading and developing a small team
Someone confident getting out in the market and winning business

📍 Burgess Hill – applicants should live within approximately 45 minutes
💷 £55,000 per annum
🚗 Nationwide travel required
🏢 Typically 3–4 days office-based, with 2–3 days on the road depending on business needs

This week, we welcomed the boys from Woodhouse Phoenix U13s to Killis HQ for their annual season signing!

We’ve proudly sponsored the team for the past three years, starting with their training kits, then adding their away kits, and this season we’re going one step further by sponsoring all three kits! 💙⚽

It’s been brilliant watching the team grow and develop over the years, and we’re proud to continue playing a small part in their journey.

The boys came in, got their contracts signed for the new season and, of course, no important signing is complete without a serious amount of pizza!

At Killis, supporting our local community is something we really care about, and we love being able to get behind local teams like Woodhouse Phoenix.

Last week, we welcomed visitors to our Robotics Open Day, where they got hands on with some of the latest autonomous cleaning technology from LionsBot, i-Team and our very own Genius range.

There was one team member who loved the attention at our Robotics Open Day... Ralph, our LionsBot R5.😅🤖

It was brilliant to meet so many new faces and catch up with familiar ones. We loved answering your questions, demonstrating the technology and showing how autonomous cleaning is helping businesses work smarter.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such a success.

What a day. What a team! 💙

On Saturday, colleagues from across Killis took on the 15K Tough Mudder to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.

A huge well done to Darren Hardy, Leon Hackett, Joe Lever, Charles Worrall, Holly Greenhalgh, Shamis Kahn, Patrick Birch, James Thurman and Ant Percy for taking on the challenge.

From climbing walls and crawling through mud to tackling ice baths, electric wires and every obstacle in between, the team gave it everything and crossed the finish line for an incredible cause.

Safe to say there were a few sore legs this Monday morning. We're not sure what hurt more, the electric wires or the stairs the next day! 😅💙

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Thanks to your generosity, we've already raised £2,536, and we're not done yet!

Unbelievably, it's Tough Mudder tomorrow!

It's fair to say the whole team is excited and more than a little nervous, but we're ready to get stuck in.

Having looked at the course map and obstacles, we know it's going to be tough. But that challenge pales into comparison to what many children and their families face every day while living with serious illness.

That's why we're taking on Tough Mudder to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity. The incredible work they do to support children and families makes every muddy mile, obstacle and aching muscle worthwhile.

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

If you enjoy diagnosing faults, solving technical problems and working independently, this could be the perfect opportunity. You'll work from home, travelling directly to customer sites in your company van to service, maintain and repair commercial cleaning equipment. Full product training will be provided, so whether you already have field service experience or have worked with commercial equipment, domestic appliances or mechanical maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll receive:

✅ £36,500 per annum plus a £1,500 High Cost Area Supplement (total package £38,000 per annum)
