Drone Surveying & LiDAR Scanning 👇🏼

We’re seeing more projects move towards digital surveying, especially where access is difficult or accuracy early on makes a big difference later in the job.

Using drone LiDAR, photogrammetry and handheld scanning, we capture detailed site data before design begins. This helps teams properly understand conditions without relying on assumptions or needing repeat site visits.

Typical uses include:

✅ Roof and hard-to-reach inspections
✅ Heritage and complex structure surveys

Floors Castle | Drone Survey 💚

Out on site recently at Floors Castle, carrying out a drone survey using LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry and aerial video capture to support upcoming design work.

Gathering accurate site data early helps us properly understand the structure before design begins, particularly on heritage projects where access and existing conditions can be the biggest challenge 💪🏼

From the survey, we were able to get:

✅ LiDAR data for accurate measurement
✅ Photogrammetry modelling
✅ Detailed aerial site visuals
✅ Clearer understanding of access and constraints

Using this approach means less guessing later in the project and better-informed design decisions from the get-go.

We’re continuing to build this side of the business as part of improving how scaffold design and temporary works are planned and delivered.

Mental Health First Aid Training - May Course 💚

In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re running a two-day Mental Health First Aid course on 20th & 21st May.

It’s practical, straightforward, and it’s about giving people the confidence to spot when someone’s not doing great and know how to have that conversation.

Construction is a tough industry. There’s long days, tight deadlines, and a lot of pressure that takes a toll on a lot of people.

Mental wellbeing on site matters just as much as physical safety, and we think it’s worth treating it that way.

From a site cabin to where we are today 🙌🏼

Creator started in 2013 with a plan to build a scaffold design business that actually understands how sites work.

What began in a scaffold yard cabin has grown into a team of 20+ people supporting complex projects across rail, infrastructure, heritage, nuclear, highways and more.

Along the way, there have been some big milestones:

👉🏼 Bringing in the first team members
👉🏼 Achieving ISO-accredited quality standards
👉🏼 Working on nationally recognised projects
👉🏼 Expanding into technology, software and digital surveying

The goal hasn’t really changed, though.

Practical engineering, good communication, and long-term relationships with the people we work alongside will always be the priority.
