We were proud recently support a group of serving firefighters by donating an 8x6m Fire Cloakโข Electric Vehicle Fire Blanket ๐ฅ
The firefighters give up their spare time to operate an internal, volunteer fire service to enhance firefighting cover at Brooklands Museum, a registered charity in Weybridge, Surrey which runs many open events, fundraising โfly-insโ and supports other charities in supplying fire cover on a voluntary basis, such as Air Ambulances UK charity air shows.
The museum also supports other local charity-based organisations including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Guides, school visits, Cadets and other similar organisations.
Explains Dave Ransom airfield firefighter and volunteer at Brooklands Museum: โWe are also members of the Surrey Local Resilience Forum, where we can be mobilised for major incidents across the county, responding alongside our full-time colleagues, to widespread issues such as flooding, health response, severe weather incidents etc.
โThe Fire Cloakโข that Prosol UK kindly donated is enabling us to further improve our response to not only the ever-increasing EV need weโre seeing at charity events, but also the Electric Aircraft world progressing into using our museum airfield.โ
Concludes Dave: โThis donation was really appreciated by all of us on the crew here at Brooklands Museum. Without support from companies like Prosol UK, we would struggle to futureproof and progress being volunteers with no funding, so thank you!โ
