This Küschall K-Series has been specified with a polished frame. We think it gives the chair a super clean finish that really shows off the rigid frame design. What do you think?

The K-Series is designed as an active wheelchair, with a lightweight, responsive setup that can be configured around the individual user and how they want their chair to feel and handle.

Three QS5 X chairs in a row… clearly proving a popular choice at the moment! 👇💚

This latest setup has been prepared in the striking Turbo Green finish, combining a lightweight rigid frame with a responsive and practical setup for everyday use.

Soon to be added to this will be a ViaGo power add-on. The ViaGo is a wheelchair push aid designed to give extra powered assistance when out and about, helping reduce the effort over longer distances, slopes and uneven ground while still keeping the flexibility and feel of a manual wheelchair. It’s also easy to remove when not needed, making it a really practical option for day-to-day life.

Nicola and myself have had a busy few weeks, attending wellbeing events and fairs across North Kent. Thanks to the organisers of the Adult Support and Wellbeing Fair at Chatham, the Health and Wellbeing Event at Sheerness as well as the New Ash Green Community Hub and memory Café. Spreading the word of our vital service is critical in ensuring disabled people get the wheelchairs they need.

Nicola and I have had a very busy few weeks attending wellbeing events and fairs across North Kent!

A huge thank you to the organisers of the Adult Support and Wellbeing Fair in Chatham, the Health and Wellbeing Event in Sheerness, and the New Ash Green Community Hub & Memory Café for welcoming us.

These events are so important in helping us spread awareness of our vital wheelchair service and ensuring disabled people know how to access the equipment and support they need to live with greater independence and mobility. ♿💙

It’s been fantastic meeting so many people, community groups and partner organisations along the way!

This Rehasense Eco Assist power add-on has just been set up, giving a manual wheelchair that extra bit of help for day-to-day use. It’s a simple way to take the strain out of longer distances and make getting around a bit easier.

One of the really useful features is how easy it is to travel with. It comes with its own protective travel case, so it can be packed up and taken on the go, and the battery is flight-friendly, meaning it can be taken on planes reducing hassle.

1st March marks International Wheelchair Day. 👩‍🦼‍➡️🧑‍🦽‍➡️🎉

To recognise the day, Ross Care invited colleagues across 30 sites and a wide range of clinical, engineering and support roles to share their experiences of delivering frontline wheelchair services.

Their insights, alongside lived experience from Service Users, have shaped this celebratory feature highlighting the expertise, compassion and commitment behind NHS Wheelchair Services.

International Wheelchair Day exists to celebrate the millions of people worldwide who provide wheelchairs and support wheelchair users, helping to create a more accessible and inclusive world. We are proud to recognise the contribution of our teams and the difference they make every day.

Ross Care & Wicker Mobility Shop is proud to sponsor the Sheffield Steelers Wheelchair Basketball Club. We’ve kicked off the year with a donation to support the team as they prepare for their upcoming European competition in Switzerland at the end of March.

Wicker Independent Living's connection to the club runs deep. Dave Bramley, Wheelchair Retail Specialist, pictured left, was a founding member of the Steelers and played a key role in some of the club’s greatest successes. Also pictured are Alastair Ronaldson, who leads Ross Care’s retail division, and Richard Sargent, a coach of the team.

We’re delighted to support the Steelers as they represent Sheffield on the European stage and wish them every success in the competition.
