Project Update – Leicester 🏛️

The Leicester Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church is currently undergoing remedial works as part of a restoration project to help bring this historic building back to its former glory.

A key part of the restoration is the use of Remmers RM Mineral Stone Replacement Mortar, designed for repairing and reinstating damaged or weathered stonework.

RM is particularly suited to restoration projects involving traditional and heritage buildings, helping to rebuild missing or deteriorated areas of masonry while maintaining the character and appearance of the original stonework.

Available in a range of colours, Remmers RM offers flexibility when matching existing masonry, helping achieve a finish that complements the building’s original appearance.

Here are a few before-and-after photos showing some of the ongoing works. Great to see historic buildings being carefully restored and their character preserved for years to come. 👌

Job Update – Garage Complete 🏠

The first part of this project in Whiston is now complete, with the main house well on its way too!

The garage has been finished in EcoRend SR15 Full Silicone Render, in the colour Chalk — a clean, modern finish that looks great on this property.

A really nice project that’s ticking along nicely, and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished house once it’s fully wrapped up.

Refina Spray Setups - Part 2 | Setting Up & Cleaning 🎥

Following on from Part 1, this video takes you through how to set up your Refina spray system from start to finish.

For this demonstration, we’re using the Refina AC85 E compressor and running through the setup of the compressor, air hose and hopper gun before getting ready to spray.

We cover:
🔹 Shutting the air valve at the bottom of the tank before use
🔹 Connecting the air hoses correctly
🔹 Setting up the hopper gun and fittings
🔹 Switching on the compressor and allowing it to build pressure
🔹 Setting the pressure ready for spraying – 2–3 PSI is generally enough for spray-applied renders
🔹 Thoroughly cleaning the hopper gun after use
🔹 Disconnecting the hoses and equipment
🔹 Releasing the remaining air from the compressor tank
🔹 Leaving the tank valve open between uses to help prevent condensation building up inside the tank, reducing the risk of internal corrosion

A proper setup and clean-down is just as important as getting the spray system running correctly. Taking a few minutes after each job can help keep your equipment working properly and ready for the next one.
