💥 ANNOUNCEMENT 💥
After over 35 years of supporting and attending the GWCT Game Fair at Scone Palace, Game and Country Ltd & Massey Feeds have taken the decision not to attend the Fair this year with a stand.
Unfortunately, the rising financial cost to attend these Fairs, from pitch fees, tent fees, electricity charges, accommodation, logistic costs and even having to purchase extra tickets just to staff the event does not make commercial sense.
In the form that we have historically done things, with a stand that was predominantly hospitality, we never have and never would begrudge our customers any of our hospitality. However, the added cost of over £10,000 just to be able to put this on no longer makes sense.
⭐ ALL IS NOT LOST! ⭐
Both Chris and Richard will be attending the show, walking about bumping into customers and enjoying a social get together at the beer tent over the course of the weekend.
👀 As well as our own “Open Day” which will become an annual event as of 2027 and please note, IS FREE TO ATTEND, COMPLIMENTARY FOOD AND DRINKS AND FOCUSES ON ACTUAL INDUSTRY SPECIFIC PRODUCTS WHILST ALLOWING YOUR CHILDREN TO ENJOY THE FREE ENTERTAINMENT, we will be increasing our support to many charity events and groups, such as the moorland groups, charitable clay pigeon shoots, local sporting events/teams, dog trials and events nationwide.
As sad as we are that we won’t get to see everyone this year “long story short, this is about the right money going to the right places”
