We’re proud to share the results of a three-year collaboration with Artemis Technologies. 💪

This project is a great example of what can be achieved when engineering expertise, open collaboration, and a shared focus on solving complex manufacturing challenges come together.

Working closely with the Artemis Technologies team, we developed and refined a repeatable resin infusion process for a critical composite component used on their next-generation electric hydrofoil vessels.

From the initial process development through to establishing a robust, production-ready manufacturing route, the project has been a real partnership - with both teams working together to overcome challenges, optimise the process and build confidence in repeatable production.

We’re incredibly proud of the results, and of the relationship we’ve built with the Artemis Technologies team along the way.

We’re proud to celebrate our ongoing partnership with the University of Leeds, supporting advanced composite manufacturing research and the next generation of engineers.

At the heart of the partnership is a CI Integration Research Cell, providing researchers and students with an industrially representative platform for controlled resin mixing and injection, process measurement and traceability.

But this partnership is about much more than equipment.

By bringing together academic research and industrial manufacturing expertise, we’re supporting work on sustainable composites, recyclable materials, multifunctional structures, and the manufacturing technologies that could shape the future of our industry.

As Hamed Yazdani Nezhad, Associate Professor in Multifunctional Composites at the University of Leeds, explains:
“The CI Research Cell allows us to mix and inject dual-component resin systems in a controlled and measurable way using in-situ pressure and flow-rate sensors. It provides a fully traceable manufacturing platform that supports both educational activities and advanced composite research.”

Seeing a completed system in the workshop is always a proud moment. Not just because of what we've built, but because of the people who made it possible.

Every project is the result of collaboration, problem-solving and a shared commitment to doing things the right way. From design and engineering through to assembly, testing and commissioning, every person plays an important part.

Here we have Ross and Lloyd with another finished build. While they're the ones in front of the camera, this photo represents everyone who has played a part in bringing the project together.

Our mantra is 'Always a Better Way'. For us, that's not just about the technology we develop or the solutions we deliver. It's about the people behind them – the people who challenge ideas, support one another, take pride in their work and always strive to do better.
