🔧 Position: Experienced Machine Turner
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Manual Machine Turner to join our busy workshop. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, focused on the manufacture and refurbishment of engineering components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Machining piston rods and hydraulic tubes to precise tolerances
• Setting, operating, and maintaining manual lathes
• Working with a variety of materials, including steel and chrome
• Supporting general workshop activities
Requirements:
• Knowledge of turning, screw cutting, milling, and operating centre lathes
• Experience as a manual machine turner
• Good understanding of engineering
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Engineering industry experience
