We’ve had a power surge in our area this morning so we thought this might be helpful to our customers in surrounding WA10 areas 👍
Sometimes after a power cut / surge or even just when the power to the boiler is turned off and on at the wall older boilers (5 years +) electrical parts inside PCB and other parts with electrical components. It can trigger them to blow when powers put back on.
It’s a bit like turning on a light and the old bulb blows 💡
Unfortunately it just means the part was already weak and would need replacing this can be unknown until it happens if this has happened to you and your boiler is not coming back on this may be a reason why.
