Today marks another milestone as we welcomed our brand-new 100-tonne, 3.2m press brake from Mantech Machinery!

This latest investment will allow us to:

Throwback to where our COSHH stores began…

Around 8 years ago, we were approached by a client on Wrexham Industrial Estate who needed us to design and manufacture a purpose-built COSHH storage container that met HSE requirements for use at a large chemical manufacturing facility.

That project became the very first I T Williams COSHH Store.

Since then, we’ve manufactured and supplied over 250 COSHH storage units, from our standard bunded stores through to highly bespoke units designed around specific chemicals, processes and site requirements.

Today, our COSHH stores can be found all over the UK and further afield across Europe, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland and Portugal.

Over the years, we’ve supplied COSHH stores for projects involving National Grid, Jones Bros, Balfour Beatty VINCI, SP Energy Networks, METLEN, METKA, BWSC, OBR, Sheppard Piling and many more.

The original design has developed considerably too. Today, alongside our standard COSHH stores, we can assist with more complex hazardous-material storage requirements, including:

Connecting with contractors and exploring new opportunities for I T Williams! 🤝

Catrin has recently attended two Business Wales events, meeting existing customers and making new contacts.

At the Meet the Buyer Expo at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, conversations included Wynne Construction, SWG Construction, Galliford Try, Paveaways, Read Construction and Jones Bros, discussing upcoming projects and how I T Williams can support their site requirements.

Yesterday’s event in Caernarfon focused on National Grid’s Pentir to Trawsfynydd Reinforcement Project. It was great to catch up with existing customers Murphy and National Grid, and speak with Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, M Group and others.

With ground broken this week, it’s exciting to see this investment in North Wales’ electricity infrastructure moving forward, bringing opportunities for local suppliers.

From our base in Ruthin, we manufacture and supply bespoke container conversions, COSHH and ATEX stores, site accommodation and secure storage, alongside our transport services.

WE’RE RECRUITING – TRAINEE INDUSTRIAL PAINT SPRAYER / YARD OPERATIVE

📍 Ruthin | Full-time | Permanent | Training provided

We’re looking for a practical, reliable person to join our team at I T Williams Company Ltd in Ruthin and train to become an Industrial Paint Sprayer.

No previous spray-painting experience is required. We’re looking for the right person with a good attitude, attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.

The role will initially involve preparing shipping containers and fabricated steelwork for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, surface preparation and priming. When the paint shop is quieter, you’ll also work with our team carrying out general container and yard duties.

As you develop, you’ll work alongside an experienced professional sprayer who will provide practical, hands-on training for at least 12 months, gradually teaching you industrial spray-painting techniques.

We also intend to provide appropriate company-funded external training as your skills develop.

What we offer:
