We're pleased to announce that all Isover products manufactured at our UK plant in Runcorn now have Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) available on our website. This represents a significant milestone, keeping us on track to having EPDs for all our products by 2030.

Our other sustainability credentials include:
♻️ Our glass wool products contain recycled glass.
⚡️ All electric equipment in the plant powered by 100% renewable electricity.
♻️ Our partnership with The Pallet LOOP is actively reducing waste in the UK construction.

We're committed to making our industry more sustainable and supporting customers in making strides in their own sustainability journeys. Our EPDs include independently verified information such as a product's embodied carbon and other environmental impact which can help customers make informed decisions when specifying and installing our products.

⭐ Yesterday we celebrated International EHS Day at Saint-Gobain ⭐

Isover colleagues came together at our East Leake Head Office & Runcorn Plant to take part in Lead & Grow EHS Day featuring Environment, Health & Safety activities, alongside our wider Saint‑Gobain community.

The day brought our Lead & Grow ambitions to life through hands‑on activity, learning, and connection. From wellbeing and mental health support, health checks and first‑aid interaction, to vehicle safety, sustainability, and environmental awareness, and the day highlights how strong EHS foundations support sustainable growth.

Environment, Health & Safety is fundamental to achieving our ambitions to be a solutions company, become the go‑to partner for our customers, and outperform our markets. Proud to be learning, connecting, and growing safely and sustainably at Isover today.

As part of our continued development in sustainable solutions, we’re excited to announce our Isover Acoustic Partition Roll (APR 1200) is now produced using the new bio-based binder. Whilst maintaining the same proven product performances, this is the first product in our new Lanaé range to use a binder manufactured from renewable materials, derived from sugar and cereal.

Taking safety beyond the workplace

Our Isover site teams stepped away from their busy schedules to take part in Saint-Gobain’s School Vehicle Safety Programme; building awareness, sharing knowledge, and strengthening our commitment to making the world a better home.

Since launching in 2023, the programme has grown from strength to strength. Now, we’re ready to take the next step: expanding beyond our teams and into the schools and communities around our sites.

We’re proud to say as part of Saint-Gobain we have been shortlisted for Fire Safety Training Company of the Year at the Fire & Security Matters Awards.

Our Technical Insulation Training Facility at the Saint-Gobain Build Better Academy delivers industry leading, hands-on training in passive fire protection for ductwork using the Isover U Protect system. By equipping course attendees with practical skills and expertise, we’re supporting safer, more compliant installations.

This is just one example of Saint-Gobain’s commitment to deliver specialist, product-specific expertise across the entire portfolio.
