Tipping links, also known as banana links, in manufacture!

Why tipping links matter

Increase bucket digging force – The linkage gives the hydraulic cylinder mechanical advantage, helping the bucket pe*****te and break out material.
Control bucket movement – They determine the bucket’s curling and dumping range.
Improve lifting capacity – Correct linkage geometry helps the excavator generate useful force when lifting or handling loads.
Protect components – Properly designed links distribute forces through the linkage rather than putting excessive load directly on the hydraulic cylinder or bucket pins.
Maintain stability and accuracy – The linkage affects how smoothly and precisely the bucket responds to the operator’s controls.
Allow different attachments – Some excavators use different linkage arrangements or quick-hitch systems to accommodate various buckets and attachments.

You buy it, we build it. Every single day, every single week is a different mix of customer orders and builds.

When you buy from a real manufacturer, you never have to wonder about the source.

Your excavator’s bucket linkage is the final part of the mechanism that transmits the crowd force into the bucket or attachment. If the link’s bent, twisted, or worn out, your machine will never perform at its best.

We fabricate a range of replacement bucket and tipping linkages for popular excavators, in house, to get you back up to optimal efficiency, fast.

From the fabrication bay, before heading into the paint shop, all of our excavator Pallet Fork attachments leave our works for independent, load testing. So you get an attachment with a full, 6 month lift test certificate, ready to work.

This is a detail often overlooked by some attachment suppliers.

It's been extremely dry in many areas this summer. Even with a bit of rain, a lot of ground is still extremely hard packed.

If you want to save unnecessary stress on your digger and wear on your buckets, invest in a good quality, Hardox® shanked Ripper Tooth.

Not only can it be used to pre-break ground, ahead of digging, you can tear up concrete and tarmac, prize out rocks and pull up tree stumps. There'll be no stopping you!

CNC shop details. ⚙️ Our CNC machine tools are all kitted out with high pressure, through tool coolant. You can see the ports on these tools that have been removed.

Why we run this:

▶▶ Better Chip Control: Blasts chips out of deep blind holes to prevent recutting
▶▶ Enhanced Cooling: Penetrates the heat v***r barrier right at the cutting edge.
▶▶ Longer Tool Life: Lowers thermal stress on carbide inserts and drills.
▶▶ Faster Speeds: Allows higher feed rates and aggressive metal removal
▶▶ Bigger Cuts: On 'U-drills' we can cut at least 50mm diameter in one-pass
