We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our friendly Workshop Team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating our Hurco machine along with other workshop tasks. You will work closely with our Operations and Project Managers to coordinate live projects and enable timely project delivery whilst maintaining a focus on quality and precision.

Your impact:
- Set up and operate CNC machine to produce accurately machined components
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality & efficiency
- CNC Programming (Fusion 360) and setting
- Proficiency in WinMax controls for Hurco 3-Axis CNC
- Ability to handle material and equipment ordering
- Provide suggestions for improving project management software and procedures
- Report to management on QMS performance, improvement opportunities, change requirements, and innovations
- Ensure customer focus and maintain QMS integrity
- Comply with ISO9001:2015 QMS requirements

During one of our most ambitious projects to date, we faced a daunting challenge: developing production intent processes and materials for interior trim door cards. The complexity? We had to use P20 steel tools and T85 & T45 (Chromable) materials within a 5-week lead time, a task our competitors estimated at 16+ weeks!

The stakes were high, with OEM homologation test deadlines looming, demanding that we keep the vehicle program on track. The creation of a suite of 18 tools under these time constraints seemed almost insurmountable. But, at Protec Group, we thrive under pressure.
