DS101 500 Series Noise Gate review

' I didn't have enough rack space to go for the double 19" drawmer gate, so I went for this one in the smaller 500 series version. It does everything the big ones do. The controls are a bit close to each other, but if you are eying for a set-and-forget gate, this is the one for you.'
Thank you for the review from Dado78 from Thomann!

Drawmer is over 44 years old, initially starting even before that in the cellar of Ivor Drawmer's terraced house in Sheffield, soundproofed with only egg cartons, with everything of course made by hand. Now still handmade, designed and tested in our Yorkshire factory.
A lot has changed since those early days, but our hands on approach and attention to detail has not.

Thank you On Sound for their recent review of the NEW Drawmer 500 series FET and OPTO compressors!

' It's great to see a British company designing and building original high-quality audio hardware for no-nonsense prices. That the OC1 and FC1 are so versatile and configurable, and deliver the goods in terms of both technical specs and sonics, is better still. What it boils down to is...classic Drawmer, which is most definitely a good thing! Well worth checking out '
