GEA sand and slurry pump, oil reservoir cracked and the original filter and housing were on NPT fittings so, everything wouldn’t tighten up properly and leaked so rectified those issues too! Back to keeping the cows clean!

Poorly 7840, run out of diesel and blocked the sediment bowl and filter!
Hand priming pump didn’t work either, so blow out fuel lines back to tank, clean everything out, open all bleed points and push fuel back through with an airline and get to run on easy start with injectors open till fuel appears again!
Back in action! We don’t like using easy start unless we have to but, no time to wait for a replacement filter head and priming pump as this tractor is vital to bedding up stock and had the straw chopper stuck on it and saves burning out the starter motor winding it over!

Dicing with a dieci this morning! Main hydraulic hose from the working hydraulic pump to the valve block blown, so totally emptied the hydraulic tank, and had to get our jcb to lift the boom to replace it, as there is no access from below to the pipe fittings. Absolute nightmare!

After a ride out with our jcb and got the boom lifted and propped safely we had the machine back up and running.
