It was a real privilege to see some of the world’s best cyclists racing through the roads we call home.

9 years in the making! ❤️

Finally got to meet the amazing Andrea von Kampen!

Andrea’s beautiful music has featured in all of our Christmas adverts over the years, so getting to see her perform live in Birmingham on Sunday — and finally meeting her in person — was a real full-circle moment.

Her music has become such a big part of the story of our little shop and those Christmas films, so this one meant a lot.

Andrea is still touring the UK, so if you get the chance, go and see her. You won’t be disappointed! 🎶

Towards the end of my set in Birmingham I saw someone in the audience who looked exactly like Tom from Hafod Hardware and was so thrilled to learn it was actually Tom!! After many years of collaboration and friendship we finally were able to meet in person and I did end the night with a rendition “Forever Young”. We might be dreaming up something special in Wales in the coming years…. We will see. 👀😊

Today we're closing our doors at 1 o'clock so our team can join in and celebrate one of the best days in the Rhayader Carnival Week calendar with our fantastic community.

A huge thank you to everyone who has worked so hard behind the scenes to organise this year's carnival. Your time, effort and dedication make events like this possible.

And a massive well done to everyone who's dressed up and taken part – we can't wait to see all the amazing costumes and enjoy the celebrations with you all.

New arrivals have landed at Hafod Hardware!

We’ve had a big delivery this week, and the shop is looking better than ever.

You’ll find decorative garden pieces, vintage-style bird baths, planters, colourful metal animals, dragon bird feeders, picnic rugs, citronella candles, handcrafted wooden gifts, walking sticks, and plenty more to discover. We’ve also added some lovely new home décor and gift ideas that are perfect if you’re after something a little different. 😊🏡🪏🪴

🌳💙 THANK YOU, RHAYADER! 💙🌳

Today we were delighted to present a cheque for £1,200 to Paul Roberts of the Waun Capel Park Trust.

The money has been raised through the sale of 300 copies of our children's book, Ryder Digs for Rhayader, with £4 from every book sold being donated to the Park Trust.

We would like to thank everyone who purchased a copy and supported the project. What started as a simple story celebrating our town has now helped raise a fantastic sum for a community space that means so much to so many local families.

It’s been a busy week out on the road delivering fresh prints to some brilliant local stockists across Mid Wales. 🚗🖼️

First stop was Penelope Primrose in Builth Wells, where we topped up their existing range of travel prints.

Then it was over to Erwood Station to officially present their brand new print, now available in the café and gift shop alongside one of the most unique little railway destinations in Wales. 🚂

Finally, I made my way to New Radnor to visit Esco'svillage shop and deliver a fresh batch of prints hot off the press — including the new New Radnor design.

It’s amazing to see these designs finding homes in independent shops, cafés and visitor destinations across the region. Massive thanks to everyone supporting local artists, local businesses and local places. ❤️

It’s the start of the prestigious Hay Festival this week and I’m very excited to say that my prints are now available from the beautiful Hay Castle in the heart of Hay-on-Wye… including a brand new HAY ON WYE design!

There’s no better time to visit this incredible historic building. The Castle is a wonderfully preserved piece of history with an amazing gift shop and, quite possibly, even better coffee in the café ☕️

If you’re visiting the festival, please do call into the Castle and have a browse.
